Convert Visitors into Email Subscribers
How to Convert visitors into email subscribers
All affiliate marketers and business owners that have websites understand the saying “The Money is in The List”. Know this is true. . . If you got the list. Many online marketers have that one problem, they don’t have a single person on their email list. If you do not have a email list yet you must START ONE TODAY! It is time for you to learn how to Convert visitors into email subscribers.
To get started you first need a Email Auto Responder program. I recommend using GetResponse. It is very simple to use and very easy to customize to your liking. Now your goal is to turn your visitors in to email subscribers. This allows you with a click of a button to blast out emails to hundreds if not thousands of subscribers at once. Think about it, if you are having a sale on an item or have an affiliate link and only 1 out of 10 of your 1000 subscribers decided to click your link and purchase your product that would be 100 people! You see how the money is in the list? This is the first step so you can convert visitors into email subscribers.
Now I am going to share with you a few tips on how to better convert your visitors to email subscribers.
All of these tips you see here today are from my experience of trial and error. So instead of trying things out and having your own trial and error apply these tips and you will have great results!
A We Hate Spam statement. No one likes to be spammed when it comes to emails. With having some type of statement somewhere on the Opt-in form it assures to your subscribers that you will not spam them and they are safe to be apart of your email list.
Only have the minimum amount of information that needs to be provided. That is two things: First name or full name and Email. That is it. There is no need to ask for age, sex, address, or last name for the matter. People are very skeptical when entering information online, but who isn’t? I know I am! But I know my trusted websites and I am very careful when it comes to who gets me email.
Make it a quick form to fill out. Time is worth money to most people these days and they do not want to take more than 10 or 15 seconds to fill out an email opt-in form. If it takes to long it is not worth it to them. So make sure it is to the point and easy to fill out!
Offer something for free! People want an incentive for everything. This is a great way to lure in new subscribers. Offer something like a free ebook, program, or report on a subject in your niche or companies industry.
Make the Opt-in form easy to find. Have it right on top of your page or blog so it is one of the first things the visitor sees. Another great location is having one at the end of an article. The visitors will be more enticed to want to be on your email list if they like what they just read!
I hope these tips helped you as much as the helped me.
